My interview with Cam Weber Part 2

OK! I can finally talk about what I could not share until today the new presentation of Madden NFL 12. 

Last week Friday I posted my interview with Cam Weber of EA sport GM of football where he spoke of “improvements to the core game (play)” touching on specifically the defensive AI.  In addition to those improvements he also spoke about the improvements in presentation.  Unfortunately I could not talk about those improvements until today.

Cam Weber, “You’re going to see all new presentation cameras.  The meticulous attention to details on the events that take place on NFL fields on Sunday’s across each individual NFL team.   How their presented, where the cameras sit, basically we mimic the real life broadcast counterparts.  Form the cameras in every stadium across to how we present our broadcast presentation in terms of commentary and overlays and presenting what goes on through the course of a game. “  

Cam went on to explain it was a change in presentation overall from the all new camera presentation to the broadcast presentation. 

But with all these new presentation changes you might be saying to yourself ‘great game play took a back seat again’.

Relax after Cam told me about all these new exciting visual presentations that we will see in Madden NFL 12.  For Cam Weber the core to Madden NFL 12 is still game play. 

“I’m always going to talk about game play first because I believe that’s just the most important thing and I’m a football guy at heart.”
